If you can see a problem but do not know what is causing it, start with Check My Damp. You describe what you are seeing, add a few photographs, and you receive preliminary guidance on the likely contributing factors and on the inspection best suited to confirming them.
If a surveyor, letting agent or contractor has already given you a report, upload that instead. We read the findings, explain them in plain English and set out which recommendations genuinely need acting on and which are the routine caveats every report carries.
What happens after you use one
If you already know what needs doing and simply want a price, request a written estimate. Tell us the measurements, add photographs, and one of our team prices the work properly. No figure is generated automatically and nothing is quoted without somebody reading what you have sent.
Your result is emailed to you and kept in your customer portal, so you can come back to it later or forward it to a landlord, agent or solicitor. Using a tool places you under no obligation, and if an inspection is not needed we will tell you so.
