— our services
Installation of ISO-Therm thermal insulation board on cold internal walls, eliminating cold bridging, raising surface temperatures above dew point and preventing the condensation and mould growth associated with cold external walls.
— about this service
ISO-Therm Thermal Internal Wall Insulation is a slim-profile, vapour-permeable insulation board that is bonded directly to the internal face of cold walls, raising the surface temperature above dew point and eliminating the condensation risk without the moisture-trapping problems associated with impermeable insulation systems. Because ISO-Therm is vapour-permeable, it is suitable for use in solid-wall construction where maintaining breathability is important. Boards can be finished with a plaster skim or decorated directly, making ISO-Therm a low-disruption internal insulation solution that addresses condensation at its thermal root cause.
— our process
A condensation survey identifies which walls are experiencing condensation due to thermal bridging or inadequate insulation. ISO-Therm is specified for the affected elevations based on measured surface temperatures and dew point data.
The existing surface is prepared and ISO-Therm boards are bonded to the internal face of the cold wall using the appropriate adhesive mortar, with particular attention to reveals, corners and floor junctions where thermal bridging is greatest.
Boards are finished with a plaster skim or render coat, allowed to dry and prepared for decoration, leaving a thermally improved wall surface that is indistinguishable from standard plasterboard in appearance.
— benefits
ISO-Therm raises the internal surface temperature of cold walls above dew point, removing the fundamental condition that causes condensation rather than simply treating the mould that results from it.
Unlike impermeable insulation boards, ISO-Therm is vapour-permeable, making it suitable for pre-1919 solid-wall properties where trapping moisture within the wall fabric could cause long-term structural damage.
— FAQ
No. ISO-Therm is a specialist thermal insulation board designed specifically for internal wall application. Its vapour-permeable composition makes it suitable for solid-wall construction. Standard rigid foam boards used internally can trap moisture within the wall and cause damage over time.

— Other Services
ISO-Therm boards are slim relative to alternative internal insulation systems, minimising the loss of internal floor area, an important consideration in smaller rooms and period properties where space is at a premium.
