Different construction types behave differently when they get wet, so the approach is matched to the building in front of us.
Hatfield sits in central Hertfordshire, roughly midway between Welwyn Garden City to the north and Potters Bar to the south, with St Albans a short distance to the west. Much of the town was substantially rebuilt and expanded from the late 1940s onward to accommodate planned overspill development, which means a large proportion of the housing stock dates from the postwar decades.
