Different construction types behave differently when they get wet, so the approach is matched to the building in front of us.
Werrington township was laid out and built mainly in the 1970s and 1980s under Peterborough's expansion, and the housing reflects the construction methods of that period: cavity masonry, timber-frame construction in places, shallow-pitched and occasionally flat roofs, and integral or linked garages. Cavity walls of this age perform well against driven rain until the cavity is bridged.
